A Review of 6 Greens Powders

I believe greens powders are an excellent way to ensure you’re consuming enough fruits and veggies throughout the day, and a great way to promote gut balance.
Although I’ve had my favorite greens supplement for years, I spent the last year testing out additional greens powders simply to see":
if there are greens supplements out there that work better with my body, and
if other greens powders taste less grassy(without added sugars)
First things first:
What are Greens Powders?
In a nutshell, Greens powders are dietary supplements that, when added to water or liquid, are a great way of getting in the daily recommended amount of fruits and vegetables. They consist of nutritious vegetables(lots of green veggies!), fruits, superfoods(nutrient-rich foods) and pre/probiotics.
Why drink Greens Powders?
Greens powders are an easy way to ensure you’re consuming enough vitamins and minerals daily. (But, of course, the nutritional value of each powder varies.)
Greens are known to decrease bloating, aid in digestion and support immune function due to the inclusion of: fiber, immunity-supporting vitamins and pre/probiotics.

3+ servings of greens, fruits and veggies. More organic greens than any other “greens” blend.

Flavor: Natural leafy greens.
Additional Flavors: Berry and Chocolate; (however, I only tested and will only consume the original greens powders to avoid any unnecessary added sugar or flavoring.)

Review: This is probably my #2 favorite greens powder. It has a natural, leafy green flavor(think lettuce/spinach flavor), and blends fairly well with water and smoothies. In water, it does tend to settle if not consumed quickly, but I’ve found all greens powders do. In smoothies, the flavor is undetectable. I found it was very effective in regulating my digestion, decreased bloat within a few hours of drinking it, and was an overall great find.

USDA Organic, Gluten Free, Soy Free, Dairy-Free 100% Vegan, Keto Friendly - (honestly, minus the “organic,” most greens powders will be free of gluten, dairy, and vegan because they primarily contain fruits and veggies.)

Review: I received this greens powder as a sample to test my interest in becoming an ambassador for Organifi. Although I did enjoy the flavor of this greens powder at first, it proved to be too sweet for me. I also wasn’t able to blend it into all of my fruit/veggie smoothies without detecting the minty sweet flavor. If you’re someone who swears by “Organic” everything, has $80 per month to spare and prefers a sweeter greens powder, this one if for you. For me, personally, I can’t afford the product and prefer a more versatile greens powder than I can consume in liquids other than water.

Review: This is a great greens supplement for on-the-go. I received a bottle of these effervescent tablets at a fitness expo and they instantly became a necessary addition to my purse. Simply pop a tablet into a glass/bottle of water and you’re on your way. No spills, no mess. Quick and easy for those times when your body is craving something green and nutritious or after a heavy meal to help decrease bloat. I love everything lemon flavored, so the taste was great, in my opinion. Although I would not recommend the tablets as an “every day greens supplement” based on the price/quantity and fizzy flavor, I do highly recommend these for traveling and as a staple in one’s work bag, just in case that lunch with your co-workers was a bit too heavy. :)

Review: Honestly, I really dislike the flavor of stevia, and I don’t typically consume sweetened greens powders, but, I figured I’d give this one a try. It wasn’t my favorite for several reasons: the addition of sweeteners, the flavor, and the price per oz. There are better options out there that will give you the most “bang for your buck.”

Review: This product contains a larger variety of fruits, veggies, and sprouts than the other greens powders I’ve tried, which explains the higher protein and healthy fat content. I honestly have no complaint about this product other than the price. I love that it includes a wide variety of fruits, veggies, and sprouts, and it did the job of decreasing bloat, energizing me and regulating my digestion. It also tasted fine in water(although a bit grainy if not consumed quickly) and blended well in smoothies; however, a 7.3oz container for $30 is pretty steep, in my opinion.

Review: This is an Amazon best seller for a reason.Although the taste isn’t exceptional - it has the typical leafy green taste to it - the flavor is rather mild. I started using this 3 years ago and always go back to it, no matter what other greens powder I try. It energizes me, decreases bloating within a few hours, and helps regulate my digestive system. It blends well with water and smoothies, and since the flavor isn’t very potent it blends well with a variety of liquids/smoothie combinations. I’ve recommend this product to several friends and family members and have received nothing but praise for this product. Once my Amazing Grass Greens runs out, I’ll be purchasing this one again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! <3
