10 Minute At-Home Ab Workout

Abs aren’t only made in the kitchen.

Don’t get me wrong — a majority of the ab definition most have is due to genetics and a clean diet. But you still need to build up those ab muscles in order for them to eventually show through.

I learned the following routine during my Track & Cross Country Days at Iowa. My team would do 5-10 minutes of abs together on the floor in our locker room after every workout. This Ab series targets the entire core: center abs, lower abs, obliques and back muscles. It is a killer ab workout, but so worth the burn!

Total Time: 10 minutes

V-ups - 4 x 10 each exercise

Plank Series - 4x each

Standard plank - 30-60 second hold

Side plank threads - 10x each side

Knees - to - elbows - 10x each side

Bicycles - 4 x 10

Windshield wipers - 4 x 10 each
